Important Information Regarding Your Private Sewer Lateral.

Dear Homeowner:

The Town of Corte Madera is planning to complete road resurfacing in the Madera Gardens neighborhood this summer. You will receive a letter from the district soon. If you have not seen it yet, we added it to our website here.

Prior to the road resurfacing, the Sanitary District will be replacing the lower part of your private sewer lateral at no cost to you. This work is expected to begin in September. As a homeowner, you are responsible for passing a pressure test on your upper sewer lateral and replacing it if necessary. You’ll have 180 days to complete this work after the district completes its work.
